Taxi ranks are located near both the International and Domestic Terminals. Black & White Taxi ranks are located immediately outside the International and Domestic Terminals.
The taxi fare to Cairns CBD ranges from $15 - $20 depending on destination point.
Bus Transfers
Australia Coach/Sun Palm Express operate airport shuttle bus services to hotels and Cairns city centre.
Pick up point is immediately in front of the arrivals area at both terminals and there is an information desk within the terminal, which if not staffed, has direct-dial telephone.

Credit Card Guarantee/Deposits
Accommodation will only be accepted accompanied by a credit card. The credit card will be used as a guarantee. Please note the hotel has the right to charge a deposit equivalent to one nights' accommodation to your card prior to your arrival.
Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check out via a credit card that you must present upon check out. You will also be able to pay cash Australian currency to settle your account.
Accommodation Availability
Conference Works has limited accommodation holds at the hotels listed. All bookings received from delegates will be based on availability. Every effort will be made by Conference Works to re house you should your preferred accommodation be unavailable or become unavailable after you have booked a room.
Cancellations
Notification of accommodation cancellation must be received by Conference Works in writing 60 days prior to booking commencement date otherwise the hotels reserve the right to charge all nights of your stay. This particularly applies to delegates who make accommodation bookings but do not show for their reservation.
The hotels reserve the right to charge all nights for cancellations of accommodation bookings within 30 days prior to booking commencement date.
Any deposit taken by the hotel maybe un-refunded.
Early and Late Arrivals
Standard hotel check in time in Australia is 3.00pm. If you will be arriving earlier than 3.00pm and require your room upon arrival to the hotel, you will be required to book and pay for your room the night prior to ensure immediate occupancy.
If you will be arriving to your hotel after 6.00pm, please advise the Congress Secretariat on your registration form so that your hotel can be informed. If you do not alert the Congress Secretariat, to your late arrival, the hotel may release your reservation.
Change of Booking
Any change in booking must be made in writing to Conference Works and NOT directly to the hotel.
