                                  - Use of Dynamic Shear Rheometer for the Bitumen Durability Test
                                  - Bitumen-tyre adhesion in relation to flushed seals
                                  - Selection of a suitable prime coat
                                  - Resealing with bituminous emulsions in the ACT
                                  - The use and performance of bitumen rubber in spray seals for holding actions
                                    in RSA

11 am - 11.30 am                                           morning tea

 11.30 am - 1 pm       Special session: Country 'biggest issues'

                                     This session will highlight the biggest issues facing sprayed seals into the
                                      future.

                                      Presentations will be made by specialists from Australia, New Zealand and
                                      South Africa.

                                      Topics may include:
                                          - Meeting the traffic challenges
                                          - Surface preparation
                                          - Loss of skills

1 pm - 2 pm                                                       lunch

2 pm - 4.30 pm       Special session: Hypothetical

                                     A challenging sealing design problem will be outlined. Practitioners from
                                     Australia, New Zealand and South Africa will present their country’s
                                     solutions to the problem and these will be compared. Changes to national
                                     seal design procedures may be considered as an outcome of this session.
