The organising committee is calling for abstracts related to the theme of the Conference: making medical imaging safer.
Papers that present the results of studies at any stage of the medical imaging cycle by those directly or indirectly involved in medical imaging are welcomed.

Papers could address: quality improvement activities in medical imaging; patient safety initiatives; consumer perspectives; the role of information and communication technology; human factors perspectives; diagnostic error; handover of patients and reports; sharing of critical information during medical imaging procedures; the perspectives of referrers; development of medical imaging standards; appropriateness of imaging; use of clinical pathways and guidance; identification of evidence-practice gaps; and translating evidence into practice.
It is anticipated that competition for speaking at the conference will be high, therefore not everyone will be granted a speaking slot. Abstracts may be considered for posters and other potential opportunities for presenting research findings during the Conference.
