The organising committee invites submissions from people interested in presenting papers at the 12th Asian Battery Conference.

This conference has gained a reputation as a MUST-ATTEND event for companies and people working in the areas of lead battery manufacturing, technology and marketing throughout Asia.

Shanghai, China will provide a perfect environment for the 2007 conference with the production and sales of China's battery industry in high speed growth, an improvement in the world-wide economy, and the increase in import and export of Chinese battery products. The 2007 conference can look forward to a stimulating environment where we can promote a better understanding of the Asian Battery industry, encourage mutual co-operation within the region, and provide a forum for the introduction of latest technology and equipment to Asian Battery manufacturers.

Key Dates

• Closing date for receipt of abstracts is 1st April 2007
• Notification of paper accepted will take place by 1st May 2007
• Final Text Paper due 1st August 2007
• Power Point Presentation due 27th August 2007

Papers

Oral presentations will be scheduled to suit the final program and will be delivered as key note addresses of 30 minutes with 5 minutes question time from the floor.

Submission Conditions

• The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Conference.
• Presenters of accepted abstracts are required to register for the conference. A reduced Presenter registration fee will be offered.
• By submitting this proposal you grant the organisers permission to publish the abstract (and final paper) in hard copy and electronic format. The organising committee's decision on acceptance of proposals will be final.
• Presenters are expected to reserve the Conference dates of 4 - 7 September 2007 in their diaries until they receive notification of submission outcomes.

Application Process

• Abstract must be submitted in Word for Windows format, Arial 12 point font, 1.5 line spacing.
• Please ensure the title of your presentation is in capitals.
• An abstract must be no more than 300 words.
• Abstracts must be accompanied by presenter's biography in no more than 80 words.
• Please include all authors of the submission and their affiliations, indicating which of the authors will be presenting the paper.
• The conference language is English.
• Abstract submissions to be made to the conference management office via email.
• Acknowledgement of receipt of all abstracts will be made by email. Notification of abstracts accepted for presentation will be sent by email.
