Call For Papers

The Call for Papers has now closed.

Conference Language

Please note the official Conference language is English. The Asian Battery Conference is strongly attended from delegates from many countries, speaking many different languages but we do request papers to be presented in well spoken English.

Program Committee

Technical Program Committee Chair: Dr. David Rand, CSIRO

The Technical Program Committee will review all received abstracts and have final say in accepted papers and order of presentation.

Key Dates

• Closing date for receipt of abstracts is 4 April 2011
• Notification of paper accepted will take place by 11 April 2011
• Extended Abstracts due 29 August 2011
• Power Point Presentation due 5 September 2011.

Papers

Oral presentations will be scheduled to suit the final program and will be delivered as key note addresses of 25 minutes including 5 minutes question time from the floor.

Submission Conditions

• The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Conference
• The conference language is English
• Presenters of accepted abstracts are required to register for the conference. A reduced Presenter registration fee will be offered.
• By submitting this proposal you grant the organisers permission to publish the abstract (and final paper) in hard copy and electronic format. The organising committee's decision on acceptance of proposals will be final
• Presenters are expected to reserve the Conference dates of 13 – 16 September 2011 in their diaries until they receive notification of submission outcomes.

Application Process

• Please ensure the title of your presentation is in capitals
• An abstract must be no more than 250 words
• Abstracts must be accompanied by presenter's biography in no more than 100 words
• Please include all authors of the submission and their affiliations.

Please use the abstract submission form to upload your abstract. Your submission will be checked for grammar and length; you will be notified via email once your form has been accepted.
