Call For Papers
General Information
The organising committee invites submissions from people interested in presenting papers at the 13th Asian Battery Conference.
This conference has gained a reputation as a MUST-ATTEND event for companies and people working in the areas of lead battery manufacturing, technology and marketing throughout Asia.
We are asking for papers which will cover diverse areas, such as:
- Current issues
- Research work
- Battery and separator technology and design updates
- Latest advancements in battery manufacturing capabilities
- Supplier capability update
- Lead market dynamics/outlook
- Energy storage and telecom batteries
- Recycling, health and community issues
- The customers perspective
- Renewable and environmentally friendly power sources.
The 2009 conference can look forward to a stimulating environment where we can promote a better understanding of the Asian Battery industry, encourage mutual co-operation within the region, and provide a forum for the introduction of latest technology and equipment to Asian Battery manufacturers.
Key Dates
- Closing date for receipt of abstracts is 1st April 2009
- Notification of paper accepted will take place by 1st May 2009
- Final Text Paper due 10th August 2009
- Power Point Presentation due 20th August 2009
Papers
Oral presentations will be scheduled to suit the final program and will be delivered as key note addresses of 25 minutes including 5 minutes question time from the floor.
Submission Conditions
- The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Conference
- The conference language is English
- Presenters of accepted abstracts are required to register for the conference. A reduced Presenter registration fee will be offered.
- By submitting this proposal you grant the organisers permission to publish the abstract (and final paper) in hard copy and electronic format. The organising committee's decision on acceptance of proposals will be final
- Presenters are expected to reserve the Conference dates of 1 – 4 September 2009 in their diaries until they receive notification of submission outcomes.
Application Process
- Please ensure the title of your presentation is in capitals
- An abstract must be no more than 250 words
- Abstracts must be accompanied by presenter's biography in no more than 100 words
- Please include all authors of the submission and their affiliations
